I’m testing the Zaquencer firmware for BCR2000 and finally got a programmer for the Roland Alpha Juno, the Mode Machines/Dtronics DT-300. I quite liked the synth line so i jammed along.
The Zaquencer is a fantastic piece of software. It gives you 4 sequencer tracks, each one can be set to drum/note mode with a nice chord function for polyphonic sequencing. I highly recommend checking the developers website.

it’s monday. time to bang out some stompin’ 90s techno. testing another plastic toy, the korg microsampler. it’s a cool device with built in single fx processor but the sequencer has no shuffle, so i’m driving it with the tb-3 to make it phunk.

It’s monday. my 808 is back. time 2 dr0p some hard phunk. using the Roland TR-808 in triplet 16th mode to inject some swing into the Arturia Microbrute cuz it only runs in straight 16ths normally.

So many great new tools at NAMM show this year. Makes me want to shop instead of doing something productive. But no $$$ left – so I just jam on the boxes that are lying around.
