Part 1 shows the preparation step by step, programming a beat and some simple melodic sequences, some quick tone programming and a lil bit of setup work to sync the machines. I’m using the 808 trigger outs to drive the JX/BeatStep.

The KeyStep is a fantastic piece of gear, my favourite poly step sequencer at the moment.

Part 2 shows the recording process. Adding/subtracting elements and adding little synth tweaks until we have some material for the final part 3: the edit/mixdown. Part 3 is not yet recorded. Unfortunately. I’ll be doing it if somebody is interested.
